Alex Bower

Hello, I’m Alex.

I am a Creative Director at MIRIMAR in Los Angeles and also a human man.

I have lived in a lot of places during my career: most notably Amsterdam for eight years, where I worked at W+K and 72andSunny, and most interestingly Moscow, where I nearly died three times in one week.

I feel like I should mention that I used to be a translator and speak five languages, if only because I spent ages learning them. I wanted to drop that in more organically but I couldn’t think of a way to do it.

Aside from writing, translating and advertising, I have also been an axe instructor, a cleaner, a barman and a stablehand.
